1.2 Information Collected Automatically

2. How We Use Information

3. Credit and Sensitive Personal Information

Credit reports, Social Security Numbers, financial account information, government identification, and similar information may be sensitive. We collect or use such information only when reasonably necessary for requested services, identity verification, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or other disclosed purposes.

We do not use a consumer's Social Security Number or credit-report information for unrelated advertising purposes.

4. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients when reasonably necessary and permitted by law:

We do not sell Social Security Numbers, credit reports, or financial account credentials. We do not disclose nonpublic financial information to unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing except where you direct or authorize the disclosure or applicable law otherwise permits it.

5. Service Providers and Technology

Our current or anticipated technology providers may include HostGator for website hosting; GoHighLevel or related workflow/CRM tools for lead and client communications; credit monitoring or credit-report providers used in connection with authorized services; email and telecommunications providers; and other vendors needed to operate our business.

We do not currently identify a payment processor because no payment-processing provider has been selected. If online payment processing is added, we may update this Policy to identify the provider or category of provider and describe the information processed.

6. Analytics, Advertising, Cookies, and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for website functionality, analytics, advertising, attribution, security, and user experience. These technologies may be operated by us or by third parties.

Our advertising and analytics activities may include services from Google, Meta/Facebook, and other advertising or analytics platforms. Depending on configuration, these providers may receive information such as cookie or advertising identifiers, IP address, browser/device information, pages viewed, events completed, and interactions with advertisements.

Where applicable law requires consent before non-essential cookies or targeted advertising technologies are used, we will seek that consent through an appropriate website mechanism. You may also be able to manage cookies through your browser or available cookie-preference tools.

Some privacy laws provide a right to opt out of targeted advertising, cross-context behavioral advertising, or certain transfers of personal data. Where required, we will honor legally valid opt-out requests and recognized preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, when applicable to our processing.

7. SMS, Calls, and Email

If you provide your telephone number or email address, we may use it to respond to your request and, with the consent required by law, send service-related or marketing communications. Text message frequency may vary and message and data rates may apply.

You may reply STOP to marketing text messages to opt out and HELP for assistance. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us. Consent to receive marketing text messages or calls is not a condition of purchasing services.

We may retain records of consent, opt-outs, and communications as necessary to administer your preferences and demonstrate compliance.

8. Credit Monitoring and Third-Party Accounts

If a service requires you to use a third-party credit monitoring provider or other third-party account, that provider's privacy policy and terms govern information it collects directly from you. We may access information from such services only as authorized by you and as permitted by applicable law.

9. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information based on the nature and sensitivity of the information and the risks associated with its processing. Safeguards may include access controls, authentication measures, encryption or secure transmission methods where appropriate, employee or contractor access restrictions, vendor management, backups, monitoring, and incident-response procedures.

No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If a security incident triggers a legal notification obligation, we will provide notices as required by applicable law.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing services, maintaining legally required records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, preventing fraud, and meeting tax, accounting, regulatory, and other legal obligations. Retention periods vary by record type and applicable law.

When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of it, subject to legal and operational retention requirements.

11. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exemptions, you may have rights to request access to personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, portability, or information about categories of data collected or disclosed. You may also have rights to opt out of certain targeted advertising, sales, or sharing of personal information, and to appeal certain privacy-request decisions.

We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. We may need to verify your identity before processing a request, and authorized agents may be required to provide proof of authority.

To submit a privacy request, contact info@smartcreditresolutions.com or call 1-877-890-3231. You may also write to us at 8115 La Roche Ln, Houston, TX 77036.

12. Texas Residents

Texas residents may have rights under applicable Texas privacy law, subject to statutory scope, exemptions, and eligibility requirements. Where the law applies to our processing, we will provide and honor the rights required by that law, including applicable access, correction, deletion, portability, opt-out, and appeal rights.

13. California and Other State Residents

Residents of California and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have additional rights. The availability and scope of those rights depend on the law that applies to the individual and to Smart Credit Resolutions. We will process qualifying requests in accordance with applicable law.

Nothing in this Policy is intended to provide fewer rights than a consumer is entitled to receive under applicable law.

14. Children

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly offer credit repair or funding-related services to children under 18. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child in circumstances requiring deletion or parental authorization, we will take appropriate action.

15. Third-Party Websites and Social Media

Our website may link to consumer reporting agencies, lenders, law firms, government resources, social media platforms, and other third-party websites. We do not control their privacy or security practices. Review the privacy policy of any third-party service before providing information to it.

16. Business Transfers

If our business or assets are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate confidentiality or notice requirements.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, vendors, services, or legal obligations. We will post the revised Policy with an updated "Last Updated" date. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent for a material change, we will provide it.
